Definition
The Notary Public travels to the client’s location to perform notarizations in person. The Notary Public provides a personalized experience for clients in the comfort of their home, business, or a mutually agreed upon location.
A notarization is completed using digital tools and video conferencing technology. The NV Secretary of State approves the use of all technology platforms. Notaries pay a monthly or yearly fee to use the platform, and a fee for each stamp placed on documents, and more.

Cost to client may be lower or comparable, but without additional travel costs. In Nevada, the notary fee is per electronic signature. The Notary Public pays the platform provider for each Remote Online Notarization. A percentage of the fee charged to the client goes to the platform provider.
